Directions
The climatic health resort Todtmoos is located in the southern Black Forest at an altitude of 800-1200 meters above sea level. On this page we show you how to reach us by car, bus, train or plane. Take advantage of the opportunity to obtain your favorable rail connection from the electronic timetable information, Baden-Wurttemberg.
Our house is beautifully situated in the Todtmoos district “Strick”. If you are coming by car from Freiburg over the Hochkopf mountain, on your way to Todtmoos you are driving directly through this district. If you are coming from a different direction, just follow the signs towards Todtnau / Freiburg.
If you are traveling by car
Via highway Karlsruhe – Basel (A 5)
Exit Freiburg Mitte, go into the direction of Titisee first, straight ahead through Freiburg. Just follow the signs B31 / Kirchzarten. Turn at the appropriate road sign of B31 towards Kirchzarten / Todtnau. In Todtnau turn right towards Basel / Todtmoos, about 4 km later turn left for Todtmoos. After the summit of the pass you first go through the district Todtmoos-Weg before you reach your destination, the district Todtmoos-Strick. Our house is located right at the road to Todtmoos.
Via highway Stuttgart – Singen (A 81)
Exit Donaueschingen-Freiburg, first into the direction of Freiburg and Titisee-Neustadt, there turn right towards Basel – Todtnau. In Bärental, keep left towards Schluchsee – Waldshut (B 500), directly at the beginning of Schluchsee turn right towards Menzenschwand, from there to Bernau, there turn left, passing the village, to Todtmoos. From here you always follow the direction of Freiburg and thus reach the destination district Todtmoos-Strick. Our house cannot to be overlooked from the road to Freiburg.

If you arrive by train
Destination station upon arrival with Deutsche Bahn is “Seebrugg”. There are train connections to Seebrugg, inter alia, several times daily from Freiburg (Breisgau) Hbf, as well as daily with the Inter Regio holiday connection IR 2217 or IR 2216. (Norddeich – Emden – Münster – Düsseldorf – Heidelberg – Seebrugg and back).
From Seebrugg, you reach Todtmoos with the buses of the SBG. Take more information about the timetables of Deutsche Bahn directly from the Deutsche Bahn and the Swiss railway.

The Euro Airport in the triangle of Switzerland, France and Germany can be reached by car within about 1 hour.
